Television versus Computers

Today I took some time off from my work at the computer to enjoy the company of my wife and watch a little bit a TV. I used to be a very heavy TV watcher before computers came into my life about six to seven years ago. Now I'm a very heavy computer user and spend very relatively little time watching television. Actually I'm glad that is the case with computers you see the content is new and it's fresh and ever changing, whereas on TV the channel's are limited and it seems that they play the same movies and gain in a gain. What really amazes me Is that stations will play the same movie repeatedly many multiple times during the week sometimes over several weeks . I think that maybe somebody should talk to the cable companies about getting a subscription to Net Flicks,And that way they can be pretty sure that they'd have on hand a seemingly endless supply of movies that they could put on and entertain people who are yet to find out about computers. What what do you think are you still hung up on TV? .I have a friend who made a promise to his wife that they would spend the first year of their marriagewithout (gasp) a TV this is to give the marriage of decent chance to get started. At at first my friend absolutely hated the idea, in fact I think he went through withdrawal from TV symptoms. But now, there is no way that you can get him to put a TV in his house. He absolutely has given the T. V. up and says he does not miss it one bit.I ask them what about the news he says is just the same thing happening to different people over and over. And if something truly remarkablehappens there will be enough people talking about it that he will find out any ways.
I think for the foreseeable future computers are safe from becoming extinct in the newly HD tv's, pose no real threat to computer users.Computers have the greatest potential for bringing people of different cultures together in solving the problems that have so long played this earth

Thank you for reading good night and take care of each other and
