Television versus Computers

Today I took some time off from my work at the computer to enjoy the company of my wife and watch a little bit a TV. I used to be a very heavy TV watcher before computers came into my life about six to seven years ago. Now I'm a very heavy computer user and spend very relatively little time watching television. Actually I'm glad that is the case with computers you see the content is new and it's fresh and ever changing, whereas on TV the channel's are limited and it seems that they play the same movies and gain in a gain. What really amazes me Is that stations will play the same movie repeatedly many multiple times during the week sometimes over several weeks . I think that maybe somebody should talk to the cable companies about getting a subscription to Net Flicks,And that way they can be pretty sure that they'd have on hand a seemingly endless supply of movies that they could put on and entertain people who are yet to find out about computers. What what do you think are you still hung up on TV? .I have a friend who made a promise to his wife that they would spend the first year of their marriagewithout (gasp) a TV this is to give the marriage of decent chance to get started. At at first my friend absolutely hated the idea, in fact I think he went through withdrawal from TV symptoms. But now, there is no way that you can get him to put a TV in his house. He absolutely has given the T. V. up and says he does not miss it one bit.I ask them what about the news he says is just the same thing happening to different people over and over. And if something truly remarkablehappens there will be enough people talking about it that he will find out any ways.
I think for the foreseeable future computers are safe from becoming extinct in the newly HD tv's, pose no real threat to computer users.Computers have the greatest potential for bringing people of different cultures together in solving the problems that have so long played this earth

Thank you for reading good night and take care of each other and

Writer's Block

Do you ever wake up in the middle the night with an absolute perfect idea for a blog?only when you sit down in front of your computer do you realize that that fantastic idea you had doesn't really make all that much sense now that you are fuly awake. Now with coffee in hand sitting in front of your computer you struggle to come up with an idea of what to write, what can I write what that might engage readers and listeners, what would people really like to listen to or to read. This then is your classic case of writer's block, some say it's a form of temporary insanity but I rather highly doubt that. After doing a very modest amount of research on the subject I found one pundit who seems to have an answer to this dilemma. This is what he had to say "just start writing "that's it, just start writing. It seems overly simplistic however that works start by simply putting the first words that come into your head down on paper do this for a little while then start stringing the words together it's like a mental jumpstart for your brain soon your brain as its want to do, will cobbled together these separate words into a concept that it can deal with.
I think this is like the old psychiatrist trick of ink blots or word association. The brain is designed to take massive efforts to make sense out of nonsense. So we can take advantage of this little quirk of nature to break through our mental block. So the next time that you have a case of writer's block don't walk away from your computer sit down and start cranking out words, then strings of words and sentences .Stay with this and let me know how you do.

That's it for now be kind and take care of each other

The Incredible Speed of Time

I don’t know if you’ve noticed that time seems to go by incredibly fast. If that seems that with every passing day that time is getting faster and faster and faster. There seems to be very little we can do about the passing of time except to notice it and try to get rid of the time waster in our life one of the things I’m told that it is a good thing to do is this just stop watching television. The job a television is to raise your anxiety level through the use of commercials and programming. Therefore instead of being relaxed and entertained hours of TV can leave you feeling disconnected and anything but relaxed. Are you a TV addict? I know that I was, spending untold number of hours watching not only television but reruns of shows I’ve already seen. We need to keep in mind that time “is the currency of life” and we must do everything we can to spend it as wisely as possible. If I am currently scouring the Internet looking for ways to UN-complicate my life to free up more valuable time, to spend this currency on things that truly matter to me and stop wasting them what silly things that are designed to upset me. As mentioned earlier the purpose of commercials is to build discontent and anxiety ,over the lack of a solution that can only be filled by the commercial. The commercials promise to take away your anxiety if you buy their product. Therefore it is probably in everybody’s best interest to determine how much time they want to spend been aggravated by the television. .
If you have any solutions that you want to share with the readers of this blog, And for getting rid of time wasters, please write to me at the following e-mail address .

And I’m looking for to talking to you again tomorrow

Stay safe and the kind to each other! until then ….

Taking it all back

Well dear readers, The weatherman turned out to be more accurate than a originally forecasted. To the guest time moves on computers get more accurate a well in the weather is becoming easier to predict. Fortunately, his all started falling heavily on Saturday and most people had the common sense to stay off the roads. It must have made the police very happy today.
I was just wondering what the people in a tropical place like Hawaii or the Amazon would do if suddenly they were to find themselves with the same amount of snow that hit us today. We in the northern part of North America are used to extremes a weather from -20 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. This makes us better prepared to handle the extremes of whether that we see from time to time, whereas those people living in the tropical areas never get a chance to experience I had a very warm or the very cold. If you’re reading this from a hammock in Borneo please write back to me and with great detail describe what you see outside your front door.
Well that will be up for now I’m sorry that these reports are not more interesting I have spent a great deal of time working on the actual mechanics of this website. I can promise you once we get resolved the ads problem and a few other minor details I will be able to focus on the reports, and these daily updates are sure to become considerably more interesting.
Keep reading and will see you tomorrow.

Storm of the Century in Ontario

WARNING! We are going to get the "STORM OF THE CENTURY"! Ya, right! I will believe it when I see it. I would suppose the weather reporting is the same no matter where you are on the planet. The most accurate weather is supplied when the weather predictors look out their windows and tell you what the weather is right now. Farther out than that the accuracy declines precipitously. I have heard predictions of snowfalls with the accumlations of 1 - 1 1/2 feet. I get all excited thinking that tommorrow I am going to be able to take the day off work, kick back, and have some fire water with the girlfriend until the wife comes home. Just like most women on their 3rd date I usually wake up disappointed as hell. The snowfall in reality turns out to be 3-6 inches, enough to make getting to work a pain but not enough to take the day off. Oh well, the fantasy girlfriend will have to wait. Right now I have to go and take care of the honey do's; as in, honey do this, honey do that! Will talk to you tommorrow kind readers.

The Best Just got Richer

The annual Forbes list of the world's Richest people is once again out. Warren Buffets’s fortune has risen to , up from $10 billion a year ago, making him the world’s richest person, according to Forbes’ annual list of billionaires. This is an amazing accomplishment for someone who started from scratch. This year Warren added 10 Billion to his fortune, yet that is no record as another member, on the list increased his wealth by 21 Billion. Lets do a little Math to try and put that in perspective. If Warren's first dollar was an inch long ,then his $62 billion would be 978,000 miles long. whew!!
Well it could not happen to a nicer guy more power to him.
It is also worth noting that the list of Billionaires has risen from 178 last year to 1100+ this year. That in itself is quite the accomplishment.Good Luck to all of you this year and perhaps we will see you on next years list.

The Beginning

It is a universal given that everything is mandated to posses a Start or a Begining. Frequently that start actually began years before the point we assign as the start. An example would be the firing up of a brand new automotive motor, years of planning and design predates the starting point when the engine first draws a breath and screams loud and proud. The biggest redwood tree once was a microscopic seed, and thus with the same lowly beginings I announce my foray into the abyss which is the internet.
